The Dillard University Archives and Special Collections supports the goals of Dillard University by identifying, collecting, preserving and making accessible books, manuscripts, photographs and personal papers of enduring value from administrators, faculty, students, and alumni.  Primarily, the goal is to advance scholarship and further the educational, research, and service missions of the university.  The Dillard University Archives is under the direction of the Dillard University Will Alexander Library.  In addition to archival collections, the Archives also supports a Special Collections department comprised of rare books.
